Coventry garage roof replacement
A job we recently completed was this garage roof replacement to a property in Coventry. 
We stripped off the old felt roof to reveal the water sodden Chipboard boarding.We removed all of the boarding and replaced with 18mm OSB3 structural moisture resistant boards.Our qualified roofers then applied our new base layer which is 3mm Self adhesive vented underlay felt.We then applied our new 4.5mm black mineral Casali Dermabit cap sheet, supplied by Quality Roofing Supplies Ltd, making sure that the joints were staggered from the underlay.Our new Cap sheet is a Broof (t4) tested membrane. When it comes to flat roofs, fire safety is non-negotiable. It is the gold standard in fire performance of roofs in the UK. Broof (t4)is the highest European fire safety classification for roofs, indicating superior resistance to external fire exposure (burning brands, wind, and radiation). It proves a roof system restricts flame spread and prevents penetration for at least 60 minutes, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations.We installed new black GRP trims to the roof edges and flashings were fitted, again in 4.5mm black mineral torch on polyester felt.All waste was removed from site and disposed of in the correct manner.
This new roof system carries a standard 20 year manufacturers guarantee.
