Garage Roof Replacement Solihull

We recently worked on this flat felt roof replacement to a Solihull garage roof.
The roof was leaking so we were contacted by the customer to cure the leaking garage flat roof. The waterproofing was the old pour and roll system. The felt was well past it’s best and was cracking and drying out. We also noticed that the upstanding to the roof light was well below the recommended height of 150mm, this was also a cause for a leak.
First of all we stripped off the existing waterproofing to reveal the timber deck. We then removed the roof light and the existing upstanding before fitting a new upstanding to the recommended 150mm. We then applied a 2mm torch on underlay felt followed by a 4.5mm black mineral torch on Capsheet. All edging details were also finished in the same material. We then fitted a new double glazed GRP roof dome.
Whilst we were there, the customer also said that he had a leak to his main tiled house roof. On investigation, we noticed a broken tile. The customer said that he had one spare so we fitted it free of charge.
