Lichfield Felt Roofing
A job we completed this week was this flat felt roof to rear extension flat roof in Lichfield.
The extension had been built by a local building company who had fitted the joists ready for us to finish off the roof.
First of all we boarded out the roof with a layer of 18mm OSB3 boarding and then fitted 50mm x 100mm timbers to the roof edge. We then applied 100mm Celotex insulation before boarding over the insulation with another layer of 18mm OSB3 to give the roof a firm decking.
We then applied a 2mm torch on underlay felt followed by a 4.5mm black mineral torch on Capsheet. All edging details were also finished in the same material.
This roofing system carries our standard 15 year manufacturers guarantee.
