Spray Foam Insulation Removal Two Gates

We recently completed this full house reroof to a property in Two Gates.

The customer was concerned that the Spray Foam Insulation that he had been talked into having installed 4 years ago was now making his property unmortgagable and would therefore be unable to sell.

Firstly, we got a scaffold erected to allow us to work safely.

We stripped off, in sections, the existing tiles and timber battens.

We then proceeded to cut out the unwanted Spray foam Insulation and scraped the joists to remove as much as possible.

A new vented Eave Protection System (EPS) was installed to allow ventilation into the roof space.

We then covered the roof with a new 132g/m2 breathable membrane and 25x50mm graded battens.

Once the roof was covered we then installed new grey smooth concrete Sandtoft Standard Pattern roof tiles to match the existing.

A new dry fix vented ridge system and verge system was installed.

New Lead flashings were dressed into the chimney.

Another roof completed and a very happy customer.
